At Roxy Ops, we believe being prepared starts with something much simpler: having useful things that actually work, knowing how to use them, and getting more than one job out of your gear.
That’s where Roxy and Lexi come in.
We’re building this store around practical everyday preparedness — gear that can help at home, in the car, while camping, during a power outage, on the trail, or when things simply don’t go according to plan.
Think Multi-Use
A good piece of gear shouldn’t have only one purpose.
A blanket can provide warmth, become an emergency shelter component, protect equipment, or help make an uncomfortable situation a whole lot more comfortable.
Cordage can repair equipment, secure a load, create shelter, help with fishing, and solve countless little problems.
A flashlight isn’t just something you use when the power goes out. It’s useful in the garage, the car, the campsite, the attic, the backyard — basically anywhere you can’t see.
That’s the philosophy behind Roxy Ops:
Buy useful gear. Learn how to use it. Make it do more.
And remember:

Preparedness Doesn’t Have to Be Expensive
You don’t need to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to become better prepared.
Sometimes the smartest purchase is something inexpensive that you will actually use.
Batteries.
Cordage.
Tarps.
Rain gear.
Blankets.
Lights.
First-aid supplies.
Water containers.
Cooking equipment.
Repair supplies.
These aren’t exciting because they’re expensive.
They’re exciting because they’re useful.
Our goal is to find practical products at reasonable prices and show you what they can actually do.
Urban, Backwoods, or Somewhere in Between
Roxy Ops isn’t about preparing for one specific disaster.
It’s about being a little more capable wherever you happen to be.
A storm knocks out the electricity.
Your car breaks down.
You get caught in heavy rain.
You spend an unexpected night outdoors.
You need to repair something.
You need to start a fire.
You need light.
You need clean water.
You need to improvise.
Those are the situations where preparation stops being a hobby and starts being useful.
We’re Going to Test This Stuff
We’re not interested in simply putting a picture of a product on a website and telling you that it’s “essential survival gear.”
Roxy and Lexi are going to put things to the test.
We’ll show different ways to use products, compare inexpensive options, demonstrate survival skills, try different setups, and occasionally discover that something looked a lot better on paper than it did in the real world.
That’s part of the fun.
Because preparedness isn’t about having the perfect gear.
It’s about knowing what you have, knowing how to use it, and being able to think when things don’t go according to plan.
